FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

ESCAPE ROOMS

WHAT IS AN ESCAPE ROOM?

An Escape Room is a gaming adventure with movie-like scenarios, but in real life. You and your teammates have one hour to decipher clues, solve puzzles, and find secrets to escape out of a room.

ARE ESCAPE ROOMS SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN?

Our games are recommended for ages 12 and up. Children ages 4 and up can participate but must have their own ticket and be accompanied by a paying adult. Strollers are recommended for smaller children. Although the rooms are not "scary" and do have appropriate content, the complexity of puzzles could be too difficult.  Liability waivers must be signed by a parent or legal guardian for any minor child participating.

WILL I ACTUALLY BE LOCKED INSIDE OF A ROOM?

Not really, no. The door into the game is unlocked at all times for your safety.  If you need to leave the room, you can at anytime, but the clock keeps ticking for your team!

WHAT IF WE NEED HELP?

There are cameras in each of our escape rooms. This is to assist you and your group if you get stuck. Our game master can provide you with as many clues necessary, but you obviously want to try and get through the clues and the game without help. You may not escape the room in less than 1 hour, but we promise you will have fun trying!

HOW DO WE PREPARE FOR OUR GAME?

We provide free lockers in our facility for your belongings while you are participating in the escape rooms if you choose.  It's best to book your game in advance through our website.  We do accept walk-ins if there is an opening. Plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to your booking time for check in, and plan to stay 10 minutes after your game for debrief and photos.  We keep a strict booking schedule, so if you arrive late, you may not receive the full time in your room.  You may take your phone in the room with you, but you won't need it.  We ask that no photos or videos be taken to help keep the integrity of our rooms for new incoming players.  But you can take pictures in our lobby photo area.

HOW DO I PAY?

Booking online through our website is safe and secure. We accept credit and debit cards or cash for walk-ins. Upon booking a room, your card is charged at the time of online booking at the rate of $25 per player per room plus tax.  If there are others in your party who wish to pay separately, you will only need to book 2 people to reserve a room.  The rest of your group may pay upon arrival. Our games are non-refundable. We will try to accommodate a change in your booking if necessary with advanced notice.  If our facility must close due to inclement weather, your game will be rescheduled at your convenience.  We do sell gift cards online and at our facility.  You may redeem a gift card online in the checkout cart by entering the gift card code.

DO YOU HOST TEAM BUILDING EXPERIENCES, CORPORATE EVENTS, AND PARTIES?

Absolutely! We can accommodate large parties (birthdays, bachelor/bachelorette, etc.) and corporate groups.  We offer large group packages for use of all our activities.  Our activities provide a unique teambuilding experience for your business or work group. Since our rooms require players to communicate and solve problems while working against a time frame, it is the perfect setting for team building in a fun, positive environment.
